God of War III
One of the hottest upcoming titles for the Playstation 3 has to be the new God of War game. As Kratos’ first outing on the PS3 nears, how will it be received? If the success of the first two God of War games is anything to go by, the new one should find itself flying off the shelves all over the world.
The God of War games are bloodthirsty, intense, action packed and a lot of fun. Set in a mythological ancient Greece, God of War tells the story of Kratos, a former captain in the Spartan army turned actual God of War.
Despite getting the help of the Gods in the first game, Kratos’ adventures since then have made him an enemy of the Gods and vice versa. In God of War III he seeks to bring down Olympus with the help of the Titans, setting the scene for some undoubtedly brilliant levels, and cut scenes.
With the power of the Playstation three behind it, God of War III will be able to offer a much bigger, faster and altogether more impressive experience as you take on some of the most memorable characters and Gods of Greek mythology.
The recent release of the demo has a lot of people talking and has certainly whet the appetite for the game’s release midway through March. The gore and violence, a staple element of the God of War series, remains, and has even been kicked up a notch due to the Playstation 3’s power. Some of the death animations are actually quite nauseating.
Olympus is set to fall on March the 16th.
Exciting news before I run, I have just gotten paid for the image work that I did on those banner stands the other month. Turns out that Ben was right, and the black was much more attractive.
